ASIF Mahmood grabbed a match winning haul of six wickets in seven overs as Blackburn Lions downed A Division leaders Blackburn Eagles by 108 runs.
Lions batted first, and lost their first three wickets for 47 runs, but then skipper Amir Chaundhary eased their nerves with a solid knock of 45 as the Lions cruised to 184 all out from their 35 overs.
But it was Mahmood's deadly spell of bowling that saw Eagles skittled out for 76 to blow the title wide open.
The Lions were roaring again a week earlier as a Arfan Ahmed smashed a season's best of 121 against Hargreaves.
Meanwhile, Tahir Rafique reeled in a hat trick against Damon Royals and Zubair Ali also cashed in with a hat-trick haul against Blackburn Badshahs.
