VETERAN cricketers from Todmorden took to the field for a challenge match with their Central Lancashire League neighbours Walsden to raise money for the Anthony Nolan Trust.
The father of former Tod players Nick and Stevie Barker needs a bone marrow transplant and the former players did their bit on the field to boost the charity’s profile.
And there were celebrations at the end of the match as Todmorden, whose side featured the likes of former star players Ibra Ali, Mark Clayton and David ‘Ted’ Whitehead, claimed a victory and the bragging rights
