JAMES Wheatcroft was in top form after he smashed an unbeaten half century and Danny Simm 44 not out as Lowerhouse’s fourth string overpowered Burnley’s Development Squad.
Sam Molloy was the star with the bowl, reeling in 5-12, while Max Dawson (2-8) and Robson Elliott (2-12) were also among the wickets as Burnley were bowled out for 148 chasing Lowerhouse’s 193-5.
Lowerhouse Bears (Under-11) 253-5 (Jack Spence (18), Aman Singh (12) and Ibrahim Rahman (11), were edged out by Longridge (Under-11) 256-3 (Jack Spence, 2-12).
