BURNLEY Bobcat Katie Rennolds finished a credible 12th in the junior 400m freestyle on the final day of the British Swimming Championships.
Rennolds had already raced the 200m butterfly on Monday where she finished 26th in the open age group.
And the teenager was in action again on the final morning in Glasgow with her time of 4.30.55 seeing her end 12th, seven seconds behind quickest qualifier Mari Davies.
Rennolds missed out on a place in last night’s final by three seconds.
The final night of action saw Jaz Carlin claim victory in the 400m freestyle while Lauren Quigley took the honours in the 50m backstroke.
Adam Brown claimed gold in the men’s 50m freestyle while Roberto Pavoni won the 200m individual medley.
The championships are doubling up as trials for England Commonwealth Games selection.
