BACUP and Rossendale Borough deservedly ran out 3-2 winners against St Helens Town at West View, a result which saw the whites climb out of the North West Counties League Premier Division relegation zone.
Adam Storry put Saints ahead but Adrian Bellamy levelled before the break for Brent Peters’ men.
Arron Kirk and Barry Massey then put Borough 3-1 up meaning Storry’s second was little more than a consolation for the visitors as Bacup could celebrate.
