THE Stanley directors must be tearing out what little hair they have left.
The plan for this week was simple β continue the great run with a home victory against second bottom Northampton followed by a superb turn out for the fans forum season ticket event tonight in the club house.
Stanley fans however, know better than to expect an easy life and most still expect the twists and turns of the league to go to final day.
James Beattie is right when he reminds us that from the position we were in after the first 12 games of the season to find ourselves six points clear of the drop zone is nothing short of phenomenal.
We must however stop getting carried away with predictions for next year (guilty as charged) and concentrate on the remaining games of this season.
We have five games left and I think four more points should be enough for us to stay up.
Given our superb away form this season I have no fear at any of the remaining three away fixtures and would love to think that we can have things all sorted before the last match of the season at home to Wimbledon β itβs the hope that gets you in the end.
