THE new England football shirt is, according to the guff from manufacturers Nike, inspired by the armour worn by St George – that’s nothing but PR gobbledygook of the most bizarre kind.
The new shirt also costs a quite staggering £90 – that’s mad and there is no way the FA should allow that sort of price.
England will wear it at this summer’s World Cup and if the competition in Brazil goes how we expect it could well equate to £30 a game for the shirt.
It’s a crazy price as football tries to cash in yet again.
