Ex-Ribblesdale Wanderers professional Jake Brown, who holds the record for the highest individual scor in the Ribblesdale League has landed the highest honour available to cricketers in South Australia.
Grade stalwart and Kensington captain Brown, who was Wanderers’ pro in 2009, won the Bradman Medal for the best performing cricketer in SA Grade cricket.
He made history 48 hours after getting off the plane in 2009 when he shattered the League batting record with 237 not out against Blackburn Northern.
