BLACKBURN Rovers are one match away from setting up a Lancashire FA Senior Cup semi-final clash with Burnley at Turf Moor.
The bitter rivals meet in the Championship at Ewood Park on Sunday week but they will go head-to-head again before the season is out if Rovers beat Bury in the quarter-finals of the county cup competition.
The last-eight tie was scheduled to take place at Bury.
But the Shakers, who progressed to the quarter-finals after Accrington Stanley withdrew, have agreed to play the match at Rovers’ Senior Training Centre in Brockhall Village.
It will take place on Wednesday, April 2 with a 1pm kick-off.
A date for the semi-final has not yet been set.
Meanwhile, Rovers’ postponed U21 Premier League trip to West Ham United will now take place on Friday, April 11 at the Rush Green Stadium, home of Grays Athletic (7pm).
Rovers U21s’ are next in action on Monday evening when they welcome Newcastle United to Ewood Park (7pm).
