I think it is fair to say that it has been a pretty successful week on the field with seven points picked up.
After last week's win against Millwall at the Turf, I said it was important that we went away from home and picked up two positive results.
A win and a draw with two performances that were probably not our best of the season is a superb return and certainly keeps the pressure on at the top of the table.
As I write this – before QPR's home game against Reading yesterday – we're four ahead of Harry Redknapp's side and the pressure is really all on them to pick up the points in their two games in hand.
Back to Saturday and it looked to be a game of very few chances and one which I think we'd have all taken a point from before the game given the state of the pitch and the weather we've seen over the last few days down south.
The goal we conceded was sloppy again from a set piece and I think Sean Dyche will certainly be working with the lads to cut out that sloppiness because we really don't look like conceding from any other area of the play.
That said, it's a little rich to whinge about the odd slip after the season we have had.
Eddie Howe's side were always going to be difficult to break down and Dyche was honest enough to say after the game that six or seven players were under par.
It is the sign of a good side who can go away, perform under par and still pick up a point.
The win at Bolton was our first there in almost 30 years and it was interesting to see just how far behind us Wanderers have fallen since Owen Coyle - remember him? - said they were 10 years ahead of us when he upped sticks to Horwich.
It has been a season of breaking records but I know there is one hoodoo we all want to overcome in a couple of weeks time.
Before then though we have a couple more tests with Nottingham Forest and Derby County the next two visitors to Turf Moor.
Both those are just behind us in the play-off places and it will be another real test of our credentials.
The way we have played this season, I certainly wouldn't bet against us and if we can come through with flying colours then it might be time to dream!
