Connor Mahoney has signed his first professional contract with Blackburn Rovers.
The highly-rated attacker put pen-to-paper on a long-term deal on the date of his 17th birthday.
Since securing a dream move to Rovers from Accrington Stanley in December, the Blackburn-born youngster has become an immediate success story.
Aged 16 years and 337 days, Connor became Rovers’ third youngest ever debutant when he came on against Manchester City in the FA Cup third round replay at the Etihad on January 15th.
His memorable month continued when he made his international bow for England's Under-17s against Belgium at St. George’s Park and the talented teenager will link up with the Young Lions again at the upcoming Algarve Tournament in Portugal.
