Suzanne Geldard's ratings:
Tom Heaton 7: Survived a couple of early scares to deal with whatever came his way. Positioned himself well.
Kieran Trippier 7: Had to be on the ball defensively against Eagles but wasn't afraid to take him on.
Michael Duff 8: Made a vital challenge inside the box to stop Jutkiewicz pulling the trigger. Solid.
Jason Shackell 8: Continues to offer excellent protection to Heaton. Stood up to physical battles.
Ben Mee 7: Did enough to frustrate Eagles into some wayward shots after break.
Michael Kightly 6: Winger was not able to have a huge impact on the game.
Dean Marney 7: Pressed and pestered and pushed to get Clarets on front foot.
David Jones 8: Influential at both ends of the pitch and brought a good save from Bogdan.
Scott Arfield 7: Good cross for the goal, having lacked a little composure in the final third early on.
Sam Vokes 7: Starved of service in the first half but was in the right place at the right time to score.
Danny Ings 7: A marked man but always tried to find ways to break free and had a couple of chances.
