ROSSENDALE trio Kane Bevan, Sam Lowthian and George Peel all featured for Lancashire in their under 20s Roses clash against Yorkshire in Skipton.
Yorkshire won the game 25-10 but both Bevan and Lowthian impressed in the Lancashire starting line-up with a lot of strong tackling and some incisive breaks.
Bevan crossed for a try from the last play of the game, while Peel came off the replacements bench for the final half hour.
All three were awarded their county shirt and ties.
Bevan, 18, is a centre who has spent the past two years at Myerscough Rugby Academy and has been with Rossendale since the age of 14.
Lowthian, also 18, is a full back who has played for the couinty for the last two seasons and has been at Rossendale since he was 13.
Peel, 17, is a centre who has come through every age group at Rossendale and was captain of the Colts last year.
All three are now making regular appearances for the first team.
