West Park St Helens U14s 12 Rossendale U14s 38 Rossendale Under 14s ran out winners in difficult conditions on a poor pitch.
Dale scored the opening try when Hashim Khan smashed into the hosts defensive line before offloading deftly in contact to Jordan Fortune, who went over to score from 10 metres out.
West Park struck back with a converted try to take the lead.
ButJames Willetts picked up a ball up 30 metres out and jinked through the defence to score under the posts, then went on to add the extras for Dale.
A Park try in the corner levelled the scored but that was as good as it got for the home side.
Isaac Cornwall scored a try on the touch of half time, converted by Willetts, to make 19-12 at the break.
Further tries from Mark Rutherford-Shaw, Tom Unsworth and Bradley Harris with Willetts kicking a couple of conversions sealed the win.
