Colne were hit by the weather again
THE weather again wrecked the fixture list in the North West Counties League with only four matches played in both the Premier Division and First Division.
Bacup and Rossendale Borough’s match at Alsager was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch while the Anchor Ground was also deemed unplayable as AFC Darwen’s home clash with 1874 Northwich fell foul to the weather.
In the Evo-Stik League, Padiham’s First Division North clash at Wakefield was off while Clitheroe did not play.
