There was more weather woe at the weekend
THE wet weather took its toll in the Evo-Stik League and North West Counties League with a string of fixtures falling foul to the conditions.
Clitheroe’s Evo-Stik League First Division North clash at lowly Wakefield was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
It was the same in the NWCL, with AFC Darwen’s First Division Challenge Cup quarter final clash at Leek CSOB called off.
Barnoldswick against West Didsbury was off as was Colne’s trip to Winsford United.
