TOM Cairney topped the Lancashire Telegraph’s Blackburn Rovers player ratings for January.
Cairney scored in Tuesday’s 2-2 draw at Barnsley and has been produced a number of impressive performances during the month.
The 23-year-old gained the highest average ratings from Rovers reporter Paul Wheelock during the month, ahead of Ben Marshall, Rudy Gestede and Paul Robinson.
Cairney was awarded nine out of 10 in Rovers’ New Year’s Day win at Leeds and in the FA Cup draw at home to Manchester City.
He received eight out of 10 in the replay at City and in this week’s game at Barnsley.
