BURNLEY are the only team outside of the Premier League not to lose a home league game this season. Yet such an impressive statistic is not being mirrored in attendances at Turf Moor.
An average gate of 12,553 puts the third place side 19th out of 24, just above Barnsley.
With the Tykes still bottom of the table, the figures certainly don’t tally with league position.
And yet away from home Clarets fans are on song, averaging over 1,500 per game.
Is Turf Moor too expensive week in, week out?
