FIFA continue to investigate the possibility of moving the 2022 World Cup in Qatar to the winter months with it appearing more and more likely.
FIFA's general secretary Jerome Valcke says it is likely to be held at some time between November 15 and January 15.
Without doubt this would make the most sense for the players involved meaning they would not have to face soaring temperatures during games.
But what sort of knock-on effect would it have on English football and should Qatar even have been awarded the World Cup in the first place?
