JOHN Coleman expressed his delight after the news that loan star Joe Jacobson will stay at the club until mid-January.
The young Welshman, on loan from Cardiff City, has made a big impact since arriving from the Bluebirds and got his first goal for the Reds in the 3-3 draw with Macclesfield on Saturday.
Coleman said: "We're really pleased we've been able to keep Joe, especially with the injuries that have caused havoc with our squad.
"He's done really well for us and has made a big impact. He's a quality player."
