BURNLEY came back from behind for the second game in a row to stay top of the Championship and rescue their unbeaten run, stretching it to 11 league games thanks to Danny Ings' 14th of the season.
After an all-action but goalless first half on former manager Eddie Howe's return, Tokelo Rantie fired Bournemouth in front with his first goal for the Cherries.
His terrific 25-yard shot screamed past Tom Heaton five minutes into the second half.
The first goal had looked increasingly as though it would be significant, and Bournemouth seemed destined to hang on to their advantage as big decisions went against Sean Dyche's Clarets.
But Ings, a £1million-plus signing from Bournemouth in August 2011, came back to haunt his old club.
Junior Stanislas had a significant impact from the bench too, sending a good dynamic ball into the box to be knocked down for Ings to convert for his 10th in the Championship.
Burnley had chances to win it, but a point was enough to keep them at the summit for the next two weeks.
