BLACKBURN Rovers manager Gary Bowyer has named an unchanged side for this afternoon’s Championship clash at Brighton & Hove Albion.

Tommy Spurr was an injury doubt after coming off with an ankle knock in last Saturday’s 1-0 home victory over Middlesbrough.

But the left-back returned to training yesterday and has been declared fully fit.

That means Grant Hanley – back from a three-match ban – has to settle for a place on a strong bench which also features fit-again midfielders David Dunn and Dickson Etuhu.

But there is no place among the substitutes for striker Leon Best, who had recovered from the groin strain that ruled him out of the win over Boro.

Oscar Garcia has been forced to make two changes to the Brighton team that started their 3-1 success at Doncaster Rovers last Saturday.

Former Rovers midfielder Keith Andrews and winger Will Buckley were injured during that game and have been replaced in Oscar’s starting line-up by Rohan Ince and David Lopez.

The Seagulls are captained by another Rovers old boy, centre-back Gordon Greer.

Brighton: Kuszczak, Bruno, Greer, Upton, Ward, Ince, Croft, Forster-Caskey, Lopez, Barnes, Conway. Subs: Ankergren, El-Abd, Agustien, Calderon, Bridcutt, March, Lita.

Rovers: Kean, Kane, Dann, Kilgallon, Spurr, Cairney, Lowe, Williamson, King, Judge, Rhodes. Subs: Eastwood, Hanley, Dunn, Marshall, Taylor, Etuhu, Morris.
