RUBEN Rochina is back in full training with Blackburn Rovers.

Today was the first time the attacking midfielder had trained alongside his team-mates after dislocating his shoulder on the opening day of the season.

Although the Spaniard has no chance of featuring for Rovers in Saturday’s Championship clash at Brighton & Hove Albion, it is a major development in his recovery.

A delighted Rochina tweeted: “First full training with my team-mates after three months out. Good feeling.”

Rovers boss Gary Bowyer confirmed the news at his press conference ahead of the Brighton encounter.

He said: “It is pleasing that Ruben has joined in his first session today but it’s too early for him that’s for sure.”

David Dunn and Dickson Etuhu, however, could be included in Bowyer's squad for the trip to the Amex.

It is a squad that will be boosted by the return of Grant Hanley from suspension and Leon Best from injury.

Tommy Spurr came off in last weekend's 1-0 win over Middlesbrough with an ankle knock.

But the left-back could be fit to face the Seagulls.

DJ Campbell is suspended while Corry Evans remains sidelined.

Paul Robinson is still working his way back to fitness.
