STAGE rallying returns to Oulton Park this month with the Neil Howard Stage Rally, organised by the Bolton Le-Moors Car Club.
Last year’s event featured a superb entry list on a glorious day at the Cheshire circuit and this should be a cracking repeat.
Blackburn’s John Stone, below, is seeded at car four in his distinctive Legend Fires Metro 6R4.
This is now the club’s premier event and attracts competitors from all over the country.
The Rally, held in memory of former Secretary Neil Howard, will feature an eclectic selection of machinery ranging from front wheel drive hatchbacks right up to custom-built rally specials.
Expect to see Metros, Subarus, Mitsubishis and many other famous names from rallying line up for some sideways entertainment This will be the only time this year that you can see cars tackling the Oulton Park circuit in reverse.
It will also be the only time this year that the action continues into the darkness.
