John Coleman was pleased that his Accrington Stanley players continue to show a fighting spirit as they equalised twice against Macclesfield to earn a point.
It comes after Stanley came back three times to draw with Shrewsbury a fortnight ago.
"One thing you can't knock our lads for is their spirit," Coleman said.
"I thought we took the game to Macclesfield and fully deserved our lead.
"We didn't start the second half well, but we got our heads down.
"I felt relief at the end. I'm proud of the way my lads have a fighting spirit and that they come back, and I was happy that they got something out of the game.
"It's going to be tight down at the bottom. We're now in a relegation fight, but every point we get - especially against teams below us, is going to be important."
