BURNLEY duo Sean Dyche and Danny Ings have both been nominated for monthly awards.
Dyche has been nominated for the Championship manager of the month award for October along with Derby’s Steve McClaren, Leicester’s Nigel Pearson and Charlton’s Chris Powell.
Burnley won all four of their Championship fixtures during the month to move to the top of the table, despite a vastly inferior budget to many other sides in the division.
Pearson’s Leicester picked up nine points out of a possible 12, while Charlton collected six and Derby amassed eight – although McClaren was not officially in charge for the first game of the month.
Dyche previously picked up the manager of the month award for September.
Clarets team-mate Ings has now been nominated for the player of the month award along with Middlesbrough’s Albert Adomah, Wigan’s Emmerson Boyce and Nottingham Forest’s Henri Lansbury.
