The Ossy outfit suffered a third straight defeat at the hands of new league leaders Park A.
Park skipper Mark Jennings felt the 7-1 score line was somewhat flattering for a match that had its share of close finishes.
It was Park all the way as they took a 3-0 lead before Gary Close stopped the rot, slotting in a fine run of 50.
Not to be outdone Jennings responded in kind, knocking in a well taken 60 break to keep Park in control and take a one point lead at the top.
Elsewhere Greenfield continued on their steady way with another competent 5- 3 victory over a stubborn Blackburn Golf Club A.
The ‘highlight’ of the game was a tortuous 75 minute pairs frame that would turn out to win the match for the home team.
Cherry Tree potted their way to a third consecutive draw while Punch Hotel managed to find a bit of form in their 6-2 win over Park B.
Mill Hill overcame West View by the same score to complete the fixtures.
Mill Hill Engineering Division Two is turning into a tight one with the top five all winning.
Longshaw B’s Jonny Hannan had a mixed night, going out of the singles tournament 2-1 to VIP’s Jake Fuller before spurring his team to victory with his second 60-plus break in as many games, this time a wonderful clearance of 68.
