HONOURS were even in the wind and rain at King George’s Playing Fields as Badgers FC and Oswaldtwistle Rangers fought out a 1-1 draw in the Under 14s clash.
Badgers were looking for a win that would have catapulted them above their fellow mid-table side and for a long time, it looked like the three points were going their way.
However, has the rain teemed down, Rangers never-say-die attitude saw them grab a late equaliser and the points were shared. Fulledge Colts continue to dominate the division and their 4-1 win against Fenny and Pleasington made it nine wins out of nine.
In the Under 10s Black division, leaders Rishton United dropped their first points of the season after drawing 3-3 with Crown Paints.
Wilpshire Wanderers maintained their 100 per cent record in Under 10s White after beating St Joseph’s 8-1.
And Wanderers also lead the oldest age group, a 4-0 win at Oswaldtwistle St Mary’s protecting top spot in the Under 16s.
