NELSON moved into the second round of the North West Counties First Division Challenge Cup with a 3-0 win at Daisy Hill.
Brandon Barski put them in front in the 26th minute and Ben Hoskin doubled the lead six minutes later.
Robert Grimes sealed the victory in the 65th minute.
Colne crashed to a 4-0 home defeat to West Didsbury and Chorlton in the Premier Division, in a game that was delayed for 10 minutes when two floodlights went out.
Bacup and Rossendale Borough’s home game against St Helens Town was washed out, as was AFC Darwen’s First Division trip to Chadderton.
