DUTCH club Feyenoord have been hit with a second fine in a week, this time for the incident which saw Blackburn Rovers player Morten Gamst Pedersen get a pint of beer thrown in his face.

The Rotterdam outfit received a 12,000 euro (£8,100) penalty after Blackburn midfielder Pedersen was hit by a plastic cup thrown by Feyenoord fans as he prepared to take a throw in during the UEFA Cup tie last month.

The game finished 0-0.

Last week, the club were fined 125,000 euros (£85,000) as punishment for the riots in Nancy before they UEFA Cup match on November 30.

They were also told they may have to play two European games behind closed doors if their fans are involved in further incidents.
