ROSSENDALE Raptors head coach Jim Fry has left the club in a shock exit.

Fry, who has been in charge at the national league side for the past four seasons, exited yesterday.

No reason has been given for his exit Fry led the team to three promotions in four years and a National playoff title.

Raptors spokesman Ken Masser would not be drawn on the reasons behind Fry’s sudden departure.

Masser said in a club statement: “It’s a very sad day for the club.

“Jim is one of the nicest, most genuine and charismatic figures in the game.

“He is a close personal friend and I hope we will be able to work together again in the future."
