COLNE will be forced to field another patched-up side tomorrow when they travel to play Atherton LR due to injuries and suspensions.
But manager Nigel Coates revealed he is absolutely delighted with the players who have taken their place after two wins and two clean sheets in their last two games.
Steve Cunningham is missing through suspension and Gavin Cooper, Chris Ingham, Ben Mosely, Nat Prendergast and Paul Walker are all long term injury victims.
Coates said: "The players who have come in have done really well.
"The last two games have been as good as we've played all season, solid at the back and scoring goals at the other end."
