DARWEN host Oldham Town tomorrow and boss Steve Mullen said his side is "itching" to play after their last two games were cancelled because of the weather.
The Reds are aiming to bounce back from consecutive league and cup defeats, but Mullen he has been left kicking his heels on the touchline as rain wiped out play.
He said: "We're itching to bounce back. We've lost three games in the league and I think that's enough if we're looking to get promoted this season.
"We've got two home games coming up and six points from them would set us up nicely for the Christmas period."
