Dropping just one mark in 32 sections was enough for Bob Baker to claim the honours at the annual Waterside Trial.
Organisers Red Rose Classic Motorcycle Club laid on a demanding day of classic trailling, starting and finishing at the New Delight Inn, Blackshaw Head, near Todmorden.
As the final round of the Northern British Bike Championship, the event attracted over 70 competitors, tackling a series of well-know venues such as Kebcot, Copy Pit, Ratten Clough and Walsden.
One of the late entries included former World Trials champion Yrjo Vesterinen on a Triumph Tiger Cub.
Class winners were Andrew Webbe (BSA), Steve Corden (AJS), Colin Fray (DOT), Bob Baker (James), James Harland (Triumph), Norman Shepherd (Francis Barnett), Eddie Atkin (UPB Cub).
“Thanks to all the team that helped to make the Waterside trial a fitting end to this year’s Northern British Bike Championship and we hope everyone enjoyed their day,” said a Red Rose spokesman.
