BLACKBURN Rovers striker DJ Campbell has a chance of starting against his former club Blackpool on Saturday.
The 31-year-old made his comeback from the injury ankle he sustained in pre-season when he came off the bench against Charlton Athletic last weekend.
Summer signing Campbell could not prevent Rovers from going down to a disappointing 1-0 home loss.
But should he impress in training in the lead up to the trip to theSeasiders, Gary Bowyer may throw him into his starting line-up.
Rovers boss Bowyer said: “I was delighted for him on Saturday.
“He got 10 minutes and that will do him well.
“He’s got to work hard in training this week and he’ll certainly come into contention for a starting place at Blackpool.”
