PADIHAM failed to add to their points total on when they lost 4-0 at Harrogate – conceeding three goals in the last 13 minutes of the game.
And it turned out to be a game to forget for keeper Ben Procter.
The home side took the lead on the half hour mark, when a deflected free kick was spilled by the Padiham keeper and Nathan Cartman converted the loose ball.
In the second half, the Storks went close when Ben Allen headed wide after fine play by Mark Sharples and Ashley Carter.
But Procter and Rob Flint then got in a mix-up to gift Paul Beesley a simple chance to make it 2-0.
The keeper was then booked from bringing down Beesley and Colin Hunter scored from the spot.
And in the 90th minute, Procter repeated the act, bringing down Beesley again who converted the penalty.
Padiham’s trip to Darlington on Wednesday has been postponed.
