THE FA has rejected Blackburn Rovers appeal against Stephane Henchoz's red card against Newcastle United on Saturday.
The former Swiss international was red-carded during the first half following a foul on Obafemi Martins.
The defender will serve a one-match ban and miss the Premiership clash at Reading this weekend.
