MOTORISTS are being warned a road leading to Turf Moor will be closed for Burnley's game against Sunderland.
Police are expecting a large crowd for Saturday's game and will close Yorkshire Street to allow supporters on foot to reach the ground safely.
Insp Jeff Brown said: "We are expecting a large crowd at this fixture and so plans have been made accordingly.
"The main point we want to stress is the road closure which will be in place to facilitate the safe transit of foot supporters from the ground.
"Once the supporters have left, we intend to get the road open again as quickly as possible."
