RAMSBOTTOM marched into the top six of the North West Counties Football League First Division thanks to this convincing win over a lowly St Helens Town side.
Chris Steele scored the first goal when his shot somehow looped over Graham McCall and into the back of the net.
The second goal arrived just before half time when McManus found himself in space on the left side of the area.
His cross was misjudged by the keeper and ended up in the back of the net.
Lomax made it three with a free kick just after the interval when McCall misjudged his effort again.
On 75 minutes Town pulled a goal back after a defensive mix up, but it was little more than a consolation.
