ACCRINGTON Stanley manager John Coleman reckons getting Rommy Boco back fit will be like making a new signing.
The Benin international has been out since the end of October with a back injury.
But with the 21-year-old due back in training in the New Year, Coleman says the attacking midfielder's return will be a huge boost for the club.
With Stanley now down in 19th, after taking just one point from the last 15 available, and with Gary Roberts and Ian Craney moving on, Coleman needs all the attacking flair he has at his disposal.
He said: "People forget about the effect of losing Rommy Boco.
"Through what we thought was a minor niggle all of a sudden it becomes a four-month lay-off.
"Rommy, on his day, is as good as anybody in this league and probably the league above, and to lose him for something totally out of our control is really damaging.
"When we get him back, it'll be like signing a new player."
