BACUP BOROUGH boss Brent Peters is urging his side to make a huge effort to shoot Borough up the league table.

Borough haven't had a game in the month because of the weather and should they win their games in hand, and results go their way, they could shoot up to second in the table.

And Peters, who is without Tony Carroll and Simon Eaton this weekend for the trip to strugglers Formby, said: "It's important that we get back out onto the park and hit the ground running for the packed schedule of fixtures we have coming up.

"If we can win our games in hand, we can shoot right up the table.

"Some teams have nothing to play for, even now, but we have everything to play for and I'll be impressing that on my players."
