BURNLEY kick-off the 2013/14 campaign with the visit of Bolton Wanderers this lunchtime – with the founder members launching the Football League's 125th anniversary celebrations.
Tom Heaton and David Jones make their competitive debuts for the Clarets, who begin life without Charlie Austin following his sale to QPR on Thursday.
Sam Vokes has been given the nod to lead Burnley's attack alongside Danny Ings, in a 4-4-2 formation.
Summer signings Alex Cisak, Scott Arfield and Ryan Noble are named on the bench.
Chris Eagles and Tyrone Mears return to their former club with Bolton.
Mears is named on the bench after turning down a loan move to Millwall last week.
The teams will be welcomed onto the pitch by a guard of honour made up of former players from both clubs.
Burnley's include Jimmy Robson, Paul Fletcher, Andy Lochhead, Jimmy McIlroy and Ian Britton.
