BLACKBURN Rovers were beaten by Everton in their final game of pre-season this afternoon.
Premier League side Everton dominated much of the match at Ewood Park and Kevin Mirallas fired them in front in the 25th minute, with Grant Hanley deflecting his shot past Jake Kean - seconds after clearing off the line from Ross Barkley.
Arouna Kone hit the bar just before half time and substitute Nikica Jelavic made it 2-0 in the 55th minute when he headed in from Steven Pienaar's corner.
The Croatian forward then made it 3-0 in the 77th minute, scoring after Jake Kean had saved his initial effort.
Scott Dann pulled a goal back with three minutes remaining as he headed in Morten Gamst Pedersen's corner.
