Accrington Panthers recent fine run of form came to an end after a narrow defeat at the hands of Pilkington Recs ‘A’.
Having won their last three matches, the Panthers suffered an agonising 36-34 lose as they run up the North West Rugby League Division Two came to an end.
However, despite the defeat the Panthers remain in seventh place in the division.
But the face another tough test in their next home game at Livingstone Road, when they entertain third in the table, Cumbrian out Hindpool Tigers on Saturday July 6 (ko 2.30pm).
