The weather has taken its toll on this afternoon's cricket programme with all bar one game across the Foster's Lancashire League, the Houldsworth Solicitors Ribblesdale League and Chorley Building Society Northern League falling victim to the rain.
Only Lancashire League leaders Accrington beat the rain as their game with East Lancashire was the only senior match across the three senior leagues.
Haslingden's Lancashire League game with Burnley at Bentgate was called off thanks to the rain and it was a similar story at Lanehead as the match between Bacup and reigning champions Lowerhouse was another casualty,
Despite attempts at mopping up the Horsfield, the Colne v Enfield match was called off with the outfield too wet for play.
Nelson's players also put in a major mopping up shift as they aimed to get their Seedhill clash with Rishton on - but that too was called off, while the Church v Rawtenstall match was abandoned following a 3pm inspection.
Ramsbottom and Todmorden were also foiled. Acre Bottom was fit for play but the rain wouldn't stop meaning an abandonment.
And it was a similar story at Marshfield as the Settle v Cherry Tree game in the Ribblesdale League fell by the wayside. Barnoldswick's game with Baxenden was also off as Victory Park was waterlogged.
The clash between Ribblesdale Wanderers and Great Harwood at Church Meadow was also called off at 1pm, while Read saw their game against Oswaldtwistle Immanuel abandoned at 2pm.
Edenfield and Earby were hopeful of playing and they worked non-stop on the outfield - but rain started again and that match was called off at 2.45pm.
Salesbury v Whalley, Euxton v Padiham and Clitheroe v Brooksbottom all followed suit.
First to go were two matches in the Northern League with matches involving both Lake District clubs called off early to avoid teams travelling.
That meant Darwen's Birch Hall clash with Kendal and Netherfield's Parkside Road date against Blackpool were both off before 11am.
St Annes v Morecambe also followed as the rain refused to relent on the coast and Chorley's Windsor Park date with Preston was also a non-event as was the Leyland v Barrow tie.
Lancaster v Fleetwood and Leyland v Barrow were also off.
