Burnley turned on the style in their last home game of the season.
Scoring first through Simon Finnan, Burnley continued to move the ball around and a quality pass by Matt Higson sent Tom Ives through to score, converted by Brian Kelly.
Burnley were still on top and managed to turn a ball over, but a sloppy pass was intercepted and Trafford MV ran in a length of the pitch try to cut the gap to 12-5 at the break.
Burnley rotated players after the break but carried on pushing and next to score was captain Nino Angelone who powered over, converted again by Kelly.
Next on the score board was Ryan Bradley after Burnley took a Trafford scrum against the head and he went over under the sticks – converted again by Kelly.
Top try scorer Matt Crowley then got in on the act to secure the win and another bonus point to avenge two defeats to Trafford earlier in the campaign.
On Saturday, Burnley travel to already promoted Tarleton – a test to how far they have come from the beginning on the season when they were beaten at home by them.
