BURNLEY added another scalp to their collection of away day victories as they climbed up to fifth place in North Lancs One.
Player/coach Simon Finnan set his team on their way to another win on their travels – their fifth away from Holden Road this season.
The fly half broke through the Mossley Hill defensive ranks to score the opening try – converted by Steve Kent.
Kent the added a penalty to make it 10-0 before Mossley Hill scored a try to make it 10-5 at the break.
But that was where the comeback ended as Burnley dominated the second half.
And that domination led to further tries both scored by leading try scorer Matt Crawley to take his season’s total to nine.
Kent converted both tries to take his points tally to 11 for the match.
- Burnley Second XV have reached the semi finals of their Divisional Cup.
