An all-round team effort so Burnley produce their highest win of the season, as they ran in eight tries in total scored.
Brian Kelly, who had a superb game from full back, scored the game’s opening try with Mark Hanson – showing real promise in his first game at open side flanker – the next player to touch down.
Burnley led 12-0 which was soon extended as Matt Calvert went over for a hat-trick of tries for the second row. Burnley needed to defend strong and keep the opposition out just before half time.
In the second half, Matt Crowley rounded is marker to score to put Burnley in complete control and the scorers kept coming through Luca Angelone, another two for Calvert and scrum half Matt Higson.
Matt Crowley kicked four conversions This week. Burnley will be in for a tougher home contest as Bolton visit on the back of a comfortable victory against Garstang.
Elsewhere, Blackburn return to action after a week of in North Lancs/Cumbria when they play host to Heaton Moor.
In North Lancs Two, Chorley won the East Lancashire derby when they came away from Colne and Nelson with a narrow 14-10 victory.
Clitheroe are still searching for their second win of the season after losing 24-9 at home to Ashton-U-Lyne.
