Drugs. We all use them one way or another, be it the pill, aspirin, or anti-this or anti-that.
Let’s face it, drugs in whatever form are big, big business.
But by far the most lucrative, are the ones that we don’t want people to use, the ones that cause derogation, pain and addiction.
And those who fall to addiction become the cash cows of the illegal drug industry, a huge drain of the NHS and police and cause untold grief to their families.
Would drugs be better legalised, or quality controlled?
I suppose only time would tell if it could drastically cut down crime and free the police from its never-to-be-won war on the drug front.
