Have you got the flair for scare?
If so, why not audition to be a part of the cast at Scare Kingdom Scream Park, the UK's newest scare entertainment attraction, which opens in mid-October and runs throughout Halloween.
Here at AtmosFEAR! Scare Attractions we are looking for 56 talented performers to take part in this year's show which runs from October 22 to November 5 inclusive. Auditions for a range of lead roles and minor characters take place at The Swallow Hotel, Preston New Road, Preston, near Blackburn, on Saturday, September 26.
We are looking for new starters as well as seasoned professionals who have a quirky disposition, bags of enthusiasm and the ability to ad lib and interact with audiences.
Also, you should be confident to learn and perform short scripts and deliver controlled 'frights' to an ever moving audience.
Cast members often make new friends and last year we even had a relationship blossom amidst the mist and screams! Performers selected will be based in one of three interactive 'scare' attractions based at Hawkshaw Farm Park, Longsight Road, Clayton-le-Dale, near Blackburn.
However, only those who live within a 40-mile radius of the venue with their own transport, or have a local accommodation base, should apply.
People interested in auditioning should also be in good health and have bags of stamina as performances primarily take place in the evening, outdoors and under a marquee.
Those selected must be available for full day rehearsals from October 13 to 15 inclusive and will be required for evening performances during October 22 and November 5 inclusive.
Successful applicants will be paid a fee equivalent to £8 per hour.
So, if you are a newcomer wanting experience in front of a live audience or a professional who thinks they have what it takes then email me at info@atmosfearuk.com for an audition slot and full details.
If you don't want to audition but would like to come and see the show visit www.scarekingdom.com to register for discounted entry or call Ticketweb on 08444 771000.
